The very first step in the process is to acquire a full debt analysis to check all 3 credit reports for errors. According to section 623, you can sue the credit bureaus up to $1000.00 for each error found on the credit report. Step 2 is to send out the section 609 letters and to contact the CFPB (consumer financial protection bureau) simultaneously while sending the letters to the debt collector and the credit bureaus at the same time. The purpose of the debt analysis is to find the errors quickly to see if you can file the formal complaint online with the CFPB immediately along with sending out the first round of letters.
Clients may choose to do-it-themselves, or access our services to get started with the above process. It cost $99.00 for the letters. If we do the work for you, there is a $199.00 charge to type up the student loans. If necessary, we'll type up all of the debts for $299.00 and we can also take it a step further to include other letters like the good will letters, inquiry removal, HIPAA letters, and repo letters for $399.00.
Once we type up all of the letters needed for the process, we will send you a copy of the debt collector VERIFICATION PAGE first, so you can review it for accuracy. Once you've verified all of the information is spelled correctly, we will submit for payment and send the rest of your documents that is needed to be sent out by certified mail. Place your right thumb in red ink on the SEAL PAGE. Count 30 days after receiving the GREEN return address
card back in the mail to receive your results.
